Drew has over 5 years industry experience, having risen through the ranks to become Content Manager in 2022. He uses his industry knowledge, as well as collaborating with automotive experts, to offer insights and practical advice to drivers of all ages, knowledge and skill levels to solve their problems quickly. During his time at BookMyGarage, he has overseen radical change to the content process to ensure the user’s needs and intent are always met in the face of an ever-changing landscape. Notable achievements include the founding of the EV Hub, Ultimate Guide to Car Maintenance and upcoming whitepaper of the sam e name, designed to make car care more accessible to every driver, no matter their level of expertise or knowledge. This is particularly fitting as he’d never trust himself to do anything more than changing wiper blades, topping up engine oil or sticking a spare tyre on! Despite this, he’s always taken a deep interest in car maintenance which he mainly attributes to his love of Top Gear and The Grand Tour. He aims to let that knowledge influence his content as much as possible to deliver high-quality advice to help everyone take better care of their cars. Drew is a big fan of Formula One (go Lando!), but if you asked him what motorsport he prefers to watch it would probably be Moto3 or British Touring Cars (BTCC) due to the more even racing and high number of insane overtakes. His varied car history takes in a beaten-up Ford Fiesta nicknamed ‘Charlie’, a Renault Clio which he beat up nicknamed ‘Liz’ and his current car, a Dacia Sandero, nicknamed 'Sandy' (which he’s hoping to take much better care of!) If you pushed him to pick one dream car, it would have to be the Lamborghini Aventador – although the Porsche 911 comes close (and 8-year-old Drew would even make a case for the Chrysler Crossfire). However, he’s come to accept he may have to settle for a classic VW Golf or Audi Quattro instead…
